Conrad N. Hilton Humanitarian Prize

About

The Conrad N. Hilton Foundation awards the annual $2 million Conrad N. Hilton Humanitarian Prize to a nonprofit organization doing extraordinary work to alleviate human suffering. The Prize helps recognize and advance the efforts of the recipient organization and calls attention to the worldwide need for humanitarian aid and support. The Prize is the largest award in the world recognizing individual humanitarian accomplishment.

The Hilton Foundation welcomes nominations in accordance with the guidelines set forward on its website. Following initial background and legal review, the Prize staff conducts an extensive evaluation of the candidates, which is then submitted to an independent, international jury that make the final decision.

The Prize dinner ceremony is held at the annual gathering of individual donors and private and public foundations sponsored by the Global Philanthropy Forum.
