Think Long Committee of California

About

The Think Long Committee for California is an initiative of the Berggruen Institute on Governance, a non-partisan "think and action tank" that engages cutting edge entrepreneurs, global thinkers and political leaders from around the world as key participants in its projects.

Established in 2010 and funded by Nicolas Berggruen, the Committee advocates for a comprehensive approach to repairing California's broken system of governance while proposing policies and institutions vital for the state's long-term future. Click here to read "A Blueprint to Renew California: Report and Recommendations Presented by the Think Long Committee of California," which was released in 2011.

Angelinos on the Committee include Nicholas Berggruen (who recently purchased a home here), Eli Broad, and Antonia Hernandez of the California Community Foundation.
